Who I think I am

I think I’m a friend, a mentor, a learner, a leader, a pesky big sister, a mother hen, a big kid at heart. I walk when I should run, and run when I should walk. I march to the beat of a different drum, and I try my best not to apologize for it. I’m thankful I get to see the world and act as a caretaker and advocate for the downcast and the forgotten. I forsaken roots, family and my past to be where I am today. Writing is my art and my joy, so I blog. You know when you turn your purse upside down and all the little bits of paper come floating out with lost notes that you wrote to yourself? This blog is designed to make sense of the notes that fall out of thhe proverbial purse of my mind. Enjoy.
